I'm a 31-year old Cebuana. I just visited this church last weekend and I wasn't able to take photos of the interiors because it was packed with churchgoers at that time we were there. I vowed to go back but because of this incident, I may just have to imagine it in my mind. Good thing you were able to see the interiors. Too bad for me. I, too, feel heartbroken about the incident. At the same time, I feel rage that some Filipinos in the fire department cannot understand the value of these heritage structures.
